The Data Entry position performs administrative work in the enrollment, education and

operational area of the organization.

About Naples Classical Academy: 

Our mission is to train the minds and improve the hearts of young people through a content-rich classical education in the liberal arts and sciences, with instruction in the principles of moral character and civic virtue. Naples Classical Academy is a growing public charter school that opened in the fall of 2021 and now serves scholars grades K - 12. Our school follows the Hillsdale classical curriculum that includes a variety of important subjects including history, Philosophy, Language Arts, Mathematics, visual arts, science, music, physical education, and others. The essence of virtue, Western philosophy, and moral character permeates our curriculum as we seek to instill a love for knowledge and learning in our scholars.


Essential Duties:

• Work closely with operations, school district and the administration team to meet enrollment-related deadlines on a timely

basis.

• Complete onsite enrollment responsibilities and assignments provided by the corporate office

efficiently and consistently. 

• Input daily attendance and maintain records (notes, emails, calls, etc.) pertaining to student

absences in compliance with state laws regarding attendance.

• Responsible for all student information data entry at the school including, but not limited to,

schedules, demographic data, attendance, grades, etc.

• Input student information data pertaining to grades, test scores, schedules, student contact

information, parent information, and health information.

• Maintain data for all programs including all data pertaining to FTE and state surveys.

• Maintain data of all Exceptional Student Education (ESE) and English Language Learners

(ESOL/ELL) and ensure that the data is accurate for state reporting.

• Responsible for all student records and cumulative folders: receive, send, electronic transmittal,

register, maintain, withdraw, etc.

• Answer attendance and enrollment-related questions in coordination with the registrar.

• Attend trainings as assigned and directed by administrators.

• Provide administrative assistance to the school admins when needed.

• Assist with the department’s compliance deliverables and deadlines.

• Attend the operations team in meetings and functions as necessary.

• Provide data and generate reports needed by the school.

• Check assigned email inboxes for important updates and parent communication.

• Organize systems and reports for smooth daily operations.

• Perform various administrative duties such as: operating phone systems, faxing, copying,

printing, scanning, sorting, and labeling.

• Maintain positive parent and staff communication.

• Assist operations team with volunteer clearance process.

• Maintain positive parent and staff communication.

• Provide back-up front office support as needed.

• Provide back-up school clinic support as needed.

• Provide carline/dismissal support as needed.

• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Three years broad, varied and increasingly responsible experience with computer information

systems and organizational procedures.

• Experience in a school setting.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills

• Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint and school database proficiency required.

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently

• Ability to demonstrate, uphold, and promote, in daily interactions, a commitment to the

school’s mission, vision, civic virtue and the moral character the school embodies.

• Employment is contingent upon a clear fingerprint and criminal history record

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • College degree preferred 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

The Data Entry position is a salaried, exempt position with a 12-month, in person work schedule. Salary will be set annually on a performance-based schedule.
