About Naples Classical Academy: 

Naples Classical Academy (NCA) is a tuition-free public charter classical school and a Hillsdale College Member School.

NCA’s mission is to train the minds and improve the hearts of students through a classical, content-rich curriculum that emphasizes virtuous living, traditional learning, and civic responsibility.

The Admissions and Marketing Coordinator (AMC) is a salaried, exempt position with a 12-month work schedule. The AMC reports to the School Operations/Business Manager and works collaboratively with school leadership, faculty, staff, families, community partners, and vendors to support the school’s enrollment, communications, marketing, and community engagement objectives.

Major Function

The Admissions and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the school’s marketing, admissions, enrollment, communications, community relations, and event initiatives. The AMC serves as an ambassador for Naples Classical Academy and is responsible for communicating the school’s mission, educational philosophy, and distinctive classical program clearly and effectively to prospective families, current families, and community stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Marketing and Community Outreach

  • Coordinate and implement marketing initiatives, including advertising, media relations, public relations, community relations, brand management, and outreach programs.

  • Work closely with the school leadership team to establish enrollment and lead-generation goals and develop strategies to support the school’s enrollment objectives.

  • Implement the enrollment plan to cultivate and sustain a strong pipeline of prospective families and support the long-term health of the enrollment process.

  • Cultivate positive relationships with community members, organizations, businesses, and other potential school partners.

  • Represent NCA in the community by visiting Realtor offices, new residential communities, businesses, community centers, preschools, churches, parent groups, and other appropriate locations to promote the school and generate prospective family leads.

  • Plan, promote, and conduct parent information meetings, school tours, and presentations about NCA for prospective families and community groups.

  • Build NCA’s visibility and presence in the community by participating in parades, competitions, community events, and other appropriate outreach opportunities.

Admissions and Enrollment

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective families throughout the admissions and enrollment process.

  • Guide prospective families through the enrollment process and provide timely, accurate, and welcoming communication through onboarding.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective families and follow up consistently with leads, inquiries, tours, applications, and enrollment activities.

  • Track enrollment-related activities and provide accurate and relevant updates to school leadership.

  • Collaborate with school leadership to identify opportunities to improve the prospective-family experience and strengthen enrollment efforts.

School Communications and Social Media

  • Manage and coordinate regular updates to the school website, including the event calendar, teacher pages, news, announcements, and other relevant content.

  • Coordinate and publish weekly school newsletters and other timely communications regarding school events and activities.

  • Create, schedule, and publish regular social media content that accurately reflects NCA’s mission, culture, programs, and activities.

  • Manage the school’s social media channels and maintain consistent branding and messaging across platforms.

  • Ensure external communications consistently reflect the school’s mission, values, and educational philosophy.

School Events

  • Plan, promote, market, coordinate, and attend admissions events and receptions for prospective students and families.

  • Assist with the planning, promotion, and execution of school-wide events throughout the academic year, including, but not limited to:

    • Open House

    • Curriculum Night

    • Concerts and performances

    • College Night

    • Parent information events

    • Other in-house and community events

  • Coordinate event logistics, communications, promotional materials, and follow-up as appropriate.

  • Serve as a welcoming and professional representative of NCA at school and community events.

Fundraising Events

  • Plan, coordinate, market, promote, and assist in executing fundraising events throughout the year.

  • Coordinate communications and promotional efforts related to fundraising initiatives.

  • Work collaboratively with school leadership, families, volunteers, and community partners to support successful fundraising activities.

Mission, Values, and Classical Education

  • Embrace and advance the school’s mission and vision by demonstrating, upholding, and promoting its values, moral character, and commitment to civic virtue in daily interactions with students, families, colleagues, and the broader school community.

  • Develop a deep understanding of NCA’s mission, vision, values, and educational philosophy through participation in required Hillsdale College materials, training, seminars, and professional development.

  • Develop a working knowledge of the principles and distinctive features of classical education.

  • Clearly and effectively articulate the benefits of classical education and the fully aligned Hillsdale K–12 curriculum to prospective families, current families, community members, and other stakeholders.

  • Serve as an authentic ambassador for NCA by communicating the school’s mission, culture, and educational model with professionalism, enthusiasm, and consistency.

Other Duties

  • Attend and assist with school and community events as requested.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by school leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, education, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in marketing, communications, admissions/enrollment, event planning, community relations, or a related field.

  • Experience planning, coordinating, and promoting school events, fundraisers, community events, and/or volunteer programs.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, email marketing platforms, website content management, Canva, social media platforms, and basic budgeting.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with prospective and current families, students, teachers, school leadership, vendors, community members, and other stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational, project management, interpersonal, and follow-through skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, deadlines, and events in a fast-paced school environment.

  • Ability to represent Naples Classical Academy professionally and positively in both school and community settings.
